Cathedral of Burgos

: One of the largest (Gothic) cathedrals (Santa Maria) of Spain was founded in 1221. The construction took three centuries to complete. The city Burgos was the former capital of Spain (Castilla) until 1492. When planning your visit include also: Casa del Cordon, old city gates and the Monastery of las Huelgas.
