: Spanish city with the most Roman monuments in Spain, including the Roman theater, a Roman bridge with 60 arches and the museum of Roman art.

Trujillo

: Medieval town on a granite hill with many monuments (castle, old fort). Many explorers of the New World (South America) were born here.

Plasencia

: Place at the Jerte River.

Monfrague

: National park in the province of Cáceres with many raptors, cork oaks and stone oaks. The visitor center can be find at the Villa Real de San Carlos (40 km northwest of Caceres).

Guadalupe

: Visit the famous monastery in Mudejar-Gothic architectural style founded by Alfonso XI. There is also a museum where works of art from the monastery can be seen. In this town is also one of the most beautiful paradors (state hotel) of Spain located in a former hospital (15th century).
