: The capital of La Palma is located on the east side of the island including the Plaza de España and the wooden balconies of houses in colonial style.

: The largest city on the west side of the island provides the necessary entertainment and culture.

: A huge crater erosion with many hiking possibilities. The highest point is the Roque de Los Muchachos, with an elevation of 2426 meters.

: Laurel forest (cloud forest) with unique flora. The walk Marcos y Cordero is the best known in this area with tunnels and waterfalls (Marcos Fuentes, Fuentes Cordero).

Vulcanoes-walk

: The Ruta de los Volcanos is a must if you visit La Palma. This route runs from Refugio El Pilar (central part of the island) to Fuencaliente de la Palma in the south. The walk leads across several volcanoes including the Hoyo Negro.

Observatory at Roque de Los Muchachos

: During open days a few time a year, several large telescopes are able to be viewed by public.
