: Beautiful high situated castle above the Guadalquivir River near the border with the hot province Seville. The castle is considered to be one of the most beautiful in whole Andalusia and has a Gothic-mudejar style.

Córdoba

: The Mezquita, Judería (Jewish Quarter) and Alcazar de los Reyes Católicos are the highlights of this city and should not be missed on your tour through Andalusia. The Mezquita from the 8th century is built as a mosque but is transformed in the 13th century into a cathedral.

: Small town at the Guadalquivir River on the border with Seville with a beautiful church (Iglesia de la Asuncion) and an old monastery - Monasterio de San Francisco (now a hotel).

: Area in the Sierra Morena north of Cordoba with mountains up to 800 meters high with villages as Cardeña and Montoro. There are also wolves and lynxes in this region.

Sierra de Hornachuelos

: Very wooded nature-park in the west of the province of Cordoba with the village of Hornachuelos.

Sierras Subbéticas

: Area in the south of this beautiful province with many limestone geological formations including the highest mountain of Cordoba. In the area Cabra, Rute and Iznájar are the most beautiful places to be visited.
